Responsibilities
Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise and identifying shrink and damages.
Provides member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
Provides member service by maintaining the self‑checkout area, resolving member issues and concerns, promoting Sam's Club products and services, providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, processing member purchases, assisting with payments, returns, refunds and exchanges, and utilizing the self‑checkout area.
Assists with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork logs and documentation, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
Assists with training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and procedures, teaching new technology, providing program rollout training, and delivering continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in business processes.
Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners, and communicating progress and recommendations for improvement.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
