We're proud of our rich history—and even more excited about our future. We are currently seeking a customer-focused Mobile Response Service Technician to support our team in Knightstown, IN. If you have dealership experience, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are passionate about delivering top-notch service to agricultural and turf equipment customers, we’d love to meet you. Duties:
Conduct work independently at customer locations using an equipped service truck. Perform diagnostic work on equipment to verify needed repairs per estimate. Notify the service manager if initial diagnosis is inaccurate. Perform equipment inspections, advise customers of findings, recommend repairs, and upsell value-added improvements. Complete assigned work according to the estimate and schedule. Notify the service manager immediately if deadlines cannot be met or additional work is discovered. Keep accurate time records for work performed. Recommend additional service work to maximize machine productivity and reduce downtime. Ensure requested parts are billed and unused parts are returned promptly. Submit work order details to the Service Manager upon completion of each segment. Help maintain company assets as required. Attend training and KEI events for skill development. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications:
Technical school degree or equivalent mechanical repair experience. 2-3 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician, preferably with agricultural equipment. Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Knowledge and/or certifications of multiple equipment brands are preferred. Ability to use our computer system (PFW IntelliDealer). Ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely. Class “A” CDL is desirable or ability to obtain one. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Koenig Equipment, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
