H&R Block . As a Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and manage a single H&R Block tax office to accelerate seasonal tax business. Responsibilities
Serve as the front-line manager to provide leadership and development of tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions Act as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns and ensure clients are scheduled properly with conflicts resolved Lead daily activities to ensure all tax office associates complete work on time, with quality standards and aligned with priorities and goals Train and coach associates to execute Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information Create associate work schedules and manage timekeeping and overtime Prepare tax returns as required and conduct timely performance reviews Collaborate with Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns Qualifications and Expertise
Prior experience in a customer service, shift lead, or similar role Experience supervising or managing people Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns) Annual continuing education and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements Computer proficiency with MS Office Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Customer-centric mindset with resilience and determination Flexible work schedule and adaptability to business needs High school diploma or equivalent or higher Benefits and Culture
