Trueline's client, a leader in materials production, is seeking a Plant Operator to join their team in Limerick, ME.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with mechanical know-how, a commitment to safety, and a passion for running production smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running on time and on spec in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

What You'll Do as the Plant Operator:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the asphalt plant, ensuring consistent, high-quality output

Monitor equipment performance and handle routine maintenance and minor repairs

Coordinate order processing and support customer service interactions onsite

Track and manage inventory, including fuel and other materials

Identify and report safety concerns, hazards, or equipment issues immediately

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with extended standing, lifting, and physical activity

Support plant upkeep and follow all safety procedures and operational protocols

Take on additional duties as assigned to keep operations smooth and productive

Must-Haves as the Plant Operator:

At least 2 years of experience operating an asphalt or similar plant

Strong mechanical skills, with ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders or catwalks

Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic computer literacy and communication skills

Must pass a physical and drug screening

Nice-To-Haves as the Plant Operator:

Welding or cutting experience

Previous customer-facing experience in a production or industrial environment

Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems
