PSI Pax supports our DOD customer’s complex requirements by coordinating services nationwide, improving processes, and delivering quality services on time and within cost. Duties & Responsibilities
Sourcing and Selection: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting IT vendors and suppliers that meet DoD requirements, considering cost, quality, and technical specifications. This includes conducting market research and evaluating bids and proposals. Compliance Management: Ensuring adherence to FAR, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other DoD-specific policies and guidelines governing IT acquisitions. Inventory and Asset Management: Tracking IT inventory levels, forecasting future needs, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure adequate supply while optimizing inventory costs. Cost Analysis and Optimization: Performing cost analyses, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and implementing strategies to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency. Technical Understanding and Collaboration: Collaborating with IT specialists and other internal departments to understand technical requirements and ensure procured solutions align with the DoD\'s IT architecture and infrastructure. Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on all IT procurement activities for transparency and accountability. Required Qualifications
Two (2) years of professional experience in acquisition support with preparing procurement packages and/or artifacts for the procuring activities. Experience in conducting market research, acquiring vendor quotes, and preparing, submitting, monitoring IT Purchase Requests via Navy Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS). Education Requirements
