About The Role
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the facility, specifically as it relates to safety, quality, on-time delivery to customers, productivity, and cost controls. The individual in this role will oversee the production, maintenance, and quality assurance functions of the manufacturing operations. What You’ll Do
Be a Safety leader and exemplify the goal of Zero Harm as a core value. Directs the planning, organizing and optimum running of day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations. Increase production, line capacity and crew flexibility while minimizing cost and maintaining current quality standards. Responsible for the safe production of quality product delivered to our customers On-Time and In-Full. Responsible for the overall production output of the facilities and their continued optimization. Strategic allocation of resources. Ensures the monitoring of all operations and the applicable triggering of unsatisfactory conditions. Ensures the facility is maintained to a high housekeeping standard and that all equipment is in good running order. Develops and implements systems and processes that track performance to enable optimization of productivity and standards. Budgets and manages manufacturing cost structures. Applies Lean manufacturing principles to improve, design, and maintain manufacturing processes. Addresses all employees’ concerns or issues to foster a positive work atmosphere. Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Management; or equivalent manufacturing experience. 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management position. Proven knowledge of business and management principles. Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and factory leadership processes. Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications and computer technology.
