It takes a lot of behind-the-scenes effort to make sure our stores have the right products in the right place at the right time to fuel our clients' beauty obsessions. That’s where our operations team comes in, to keep our stores and our customers looking beautiful and being their best. As our Operations Manager you will be accountable for the efficient day-to-day operation of a shift or an assigned department within the Distribution Center. The emphasis is on managing numerous operational activities to ensure the production floor is working in a balanced and productive fashion with respect to operational and service delivery goals. Responsibilities

Leading the team with operational excellence. Supervise exempt and non-exempt staff within an assigned shift or department, including oversight of safety and housekeeping/sanitation activities and programs. Demonstrate business leadership by using independent discretion to create and achieve short- and long-term strategic and tactical plans for the DC guided by broad principles, objectives, and standards. Drives Results. Develop plans for promoting team collaboration and accountability for meeting performance objectives. Build, motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives. Ensure direct reports have the support to manage their departments through coaching and development. Allocate equipment and labor resources to meet service levels and budgets. Collaborates. Leverage Maintenance, Asset Protection, Human Resources, Finance, and other support groups to align efforts across DCs and functions in retail and e-commerce environments. Develop preventative measures based on data analysis to positively impact productivity. Contribute to policy and program development through consistent administration and execution of guidelines. Engages & Inspires. Counsel associates on performance and behavioral concerns; model teamwork and collaboration. Lead in safety, performance, and compliance with state and OSHA rules. Five to ten years of relevant work experience in a distribution center environment. Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ability to quickly develop proficiency in systems such as Blue Yonder, Autostore or Pouch Packing. Ability to understand all aspects of the production floor including Inbound, Outbound/Shipping, Dotcom and Inventory Control. Ability to delegate and develop exempt leaders and lead large teams up to 300 associates. Knowledge of distribution operating systems and all aspects of warehouse, production, logistics and transportation. Flexible and adaptive to fast-paced, high-volume environments. Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities. Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel. Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $96,390.00 - $107,730.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors including qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and other legitimate business factors. Individuals may be eligible for bonuses.
