Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Develops and executes strategic plans for driving corporate initiatives targeting new emerging markets and/or market expansion or diversification in alignment with the Director, Strategy and Business Development
Develops strategic relationships at targeted accounts in the value chain to develop opportunities for growth and seamlessly transition to sales execution
Leads with industry-influencing accounts. Communicates internally to ensure execution at influencing accounts that drive future GT roadmap activities and share growth
Collaborates with engineering, product management and operations to determine if existing capabilities solve customer pain points; if not, partners internally to develop a strategy to obtain those: product development (FTA), acquisition of capabilities, organic growth
Expands Greene, Tweed portfolio, industry knowledge and insights to grow targeted industry segments
Accounts for the development and communication of all areas of the strategic growth plan to ensure successful execution across regions and territories across industry verticals as appropriate
Supports sales on strategic account approaches, value proposition, and competitive landscape
Provides input on strategic direction, influencer insights, industry trends and anticipated regulations affecting product/industry roadmaps, value proposition and timing of new product introductions
Identifies and grows opportunities globally and collaborates with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
Identifies and develops campaign focus as part of the strategic plan
Ensures Greene Tweed’s industry influence in key industry committees and marketing events to build brand and understand competitive landscape; develops strategies to expand share and ensure value proposition is considered early in the specification process
Required Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (or equivalent experience); Master’s degree desired.
Skills and Experience:
10 years related consultative sales experience, including the ability to influence and build new strategic relationships
5 years related industry experience for this role
Ability to work with a diverse team to develop a global market plan and penetrate strategic segments
Technical knowledge with the ability to present complex products to technical and business decision-makers
Proven track record of hitting revenue targets; data mining, prospecting, and new account development
Results- and process-driven mindset to build a diversified opportunity funnel and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization; inspirational teamwork
Understanding of sales processes and tools (SWOT, value-based pricing/selling, cost estimating)
Strong negotiation, listening, communication, and presentation skills
Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking to move customers forward and close deals
Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented; able to work with minimal direction
Team leadership capabilities; able to work with a diverse multi-functional team of technical and sales professionals
Ability to make decisions aligned with business strategy
Cultural knowledge and understanding of behavioral practices in business and social environments
Ability to travel 50-70% of the time (domestic and international)
Valid driver’s license
Job Environment and Physical Requirements Physical Requirements:
Standing, Sitting, Lifting up to 25 lbs, Carrying up to 15 lbs, Walking, Hearing, Vision
