Department Case Management Services | Department of Student Support & Transitions

Responsibilities

Assists in the management of administrative operations for Case Management Services and DSST. Serves as primary contact for CMS and provides customer service via phone, e‑mail, and direct contact which includes student check‑ins and creating cases in Maxient. Handles a high volume of administrative inquiries while researching and interpreting university policies and procedures. Assists with making recommendations on office operation needs related to equipment, workflow, staffing, and materials.

Compiles, monitors, and maintains confidential medical, personal, and notification data/records for programs. Develops, inputs, analyzes data, and generates reports from database related to metrics for Case Management.

Per department protocol and in conjunction with the Department of Student Support & Transitions, supports faculty, staff, and students experiencing crises/emergencies in connecting students with CMS and appropriate departments or offices via phone, email, Zoom, etc. to inform of services offered, prepare memos, send e‑mail, and faxes.

Provides administrative support for Case Management Services. Supervises and coordinates work assignments for college work‑study or OPS students. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience. (Note: post‑high‑school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)
