Senior SAP Business Analyst:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Business Analyst to lead critical business analysis initiatives supporting enterprise systems and process transformation. This role will focus on optimizing solutions within SAP S/4HANA and its integrated platforms while partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes.
Hybrid model in Portland, Oregon. Applicants must be local to the Portland Oregon Metro Area.
Base pay range $75.00/hr - $90.00/hr
Senior SAP Business Analyst Responsibilities:
Lead and execute business analysis for complex, high‑impact initiatives within SAP S/4HANA and related systems such as Ariba, Fieldglass, and SuccessFactors.
Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and data reviews.
Develop and refine process documentation, including current‑state analysis and future‑state design recommendations.
Manage and validate requirements to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder priorities.
Create and maintain functional and technical specifications, securing necessary approvals.
Lead business process re‑engineering efforts and identify scalable, sustainable solutions to business challenges.
Collaborate with project teams to develop test strategies, document test cases, and support user acceptance testing.
Recommend and implement process improvement tools, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Provide mentorship or leadership to other business analysts on large‑scale programs.
Senior SAP Business Analyst Qualifications:
7+ years of progressive experience leading business analysis efforts in enterprise environments.
Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and related applications (e.g., Ariba, Fieldglass, SuccessFactors).
Deep expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and business process design.
Proven ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization, including executives and cross‑functional teams.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables.
Demonstrated success working collaboratively in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
Master’s degree in business, technology, or a related discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
