LNG Sales and Business Development Manager
A Snapshot of Your Day
As the LNG Sales and Business Development Manager, you will drive and coordinate all client activity during the various project development phases of an opportunity through order entry and deliver the successful sales campaigns for the Siemens Energy portfolio in LNG / FLNG / eLNG market for compression applications. In this role, you will be encouraged to liaise with the customers, EPCs, and process licensors for early business development, lead the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure projects. You will identify the client project evaluators, influencers, and decision‑makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of the acquisition cycle.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Develop and implement the LNG business development strategy including the identification of key customers, EPCs, process licensors, mapping of their organization, identification of the key collaborators and building of a relationship strategy.
Organize and represent Siemens Energy in key LNG marketing events to ensure that the LNG customer base is knowledgeable about our products and capability.
Develop value propositions around the Siemens Energy portfolio of rotating equipment for various LNG processes and capacities.
Develop the sales capture plan and transactional strategy for each identified opportunity incorporating the customer needs, equipment application, aftermarket and LTSA strategy, localization strategy and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competitive position.
Manage the organizational risk through the entire sales development process both in terms of customer contractual obligations as well as providing robust internal sales forecasting.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject with minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry and at least 3 years in LNG industry.
Technical understanding of various LNG processes and technologies.
Experience with rotating equipment, preferably compressors and gas turbines.
Sales and business development experience.
Willingness to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
