As a member of the Clinical Services Business Support team, our UAT Coordinator assures that all business functional testing activities are completed within a particular business work stream and delivered with high quality while ensuring KPI targets are met. UAT Coordinators lead teams across multiple business functional areas while delivering quality outcomes and adhering to project timelines. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or related field 5-7 years of experience in business, health insurance or general health industry 5 years of experience in defining and analyzing business requirements, process modeling Acceptance testing with 1 year of experience leading and delivering quality UAT in support of corporate projects. Experience writing and running queries to support UAT activities; or equivalent combination of education and experience Skills And Attributes
Healthcare Insurance & Technical Expertise: Knowledge of healthcare insurance domain; Facets experience preferred; programming languages, software tools, desktop applications, and Agile/software development methodologies Comprehensive Testing & Quality Assurance: Ability to elaborate business requirements into effective test cases, define and execute test scripts, apply standard processes across the software development lifecycle, and use UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing techniques Process Analysis & Risk Management: Identify process changes and impacts on end-user operations, prioritize test cases using risk-based approaches, and understand operational measures affecting functional areas while measuring KPI Defect Management & Continuous Improvement: Verify and communicate defects, perform production defect leakage analysis, and use data to improve future testing Strategic Planning & Project Management: Apply formal project management methodology, create UAT testing strategies, manage UAT across multiple Agile teams, and validate test data preparation Leadership & Communication: Strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration; lead and mentor team members, summarize UAT status, and escalate issues as needed Adaptability & Business Acumen: Ability to work independently and in teams in fast-paced environments; expertise in at least one functional business area (e.g., claims processing, membership processing, customer service) What You Will Do At Cambia
Business Analysis & Requirements Management: Understand business work streams from user perspectives, review requirements and architecture documents, advise Product Owners on KPIs, and act as business area expert for operational questions Test Strategy & Planning: Develop UAT, regression, and end-to-end tests with planning, create quality testing strategies, and define test data across multiple business areas Test Execution & Documentation: Execute planned UAT activities, compile final testing documentation for releases, ensure quality across the project lifecycle Team Leadership & Development: Schedule, train, and coach Business Test Teams; provide system/tool access; mentor team members; collaborate with development partners on goals and risks Project Management & Coordination: Plan and lead business test activities as project manager for quality-related deliverables, manage scope, timelines, estimates, and risk Defect Management & Triage: Report results, verify fixes, lead UAT defect triage with prioritization, and coordinate with peers for efficient execution Progress Monitoring & Communication: Track UAT progress, remove obstacles, report to project and senior management Metrics & Performance Analysis: Use metrics to measure process effectiveness, quality, and UAT progress Process Improvement & Innovation: Contribute to process improvements and implement plans and mitigations Production Support & Implementation: Support Go-live and post-implementation activities The expected hiring range for a UAT Coordinator is $83,300 - $112,700 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; with a 10% bonus target.
