Overview
Maintenance Technician position in the food manufacturing industry with opportunities for growth. This role focuses on maintaining and improving the reliability of manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient production. Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems according to established schedules and procedures. Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Operate and maintain PLC, VFD, HMI, and CMMS systems. Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other safety and quality standards. Respond promptly to breakdowns and perform repairs quickly and efficiently. Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems. Work with mill and press machinery. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems, freezers, HVAC systems, and other industrial equipment. Use PPE correctly and follow all safety procedures to minimize risk. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production processes and plant performance. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in manufacturing. Experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, and CMMS systems is a plus. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and related safety and quality standards. Experience with mill and press machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and industrial equipment. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems, freezers, HVAC systems, and 480V electrical systems. Proficiency with Allen-Bradley controls and systems is a plus. Strong commitment to safety and proper PPE usage. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and repair faults across a range of equipment. Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization. Benefits & Details
