Camp Program Specialist
and help create unforgettable camp experiences for campers! In this role, you’ll bring camp to life through hands-on activities like crafts, nature exploration, swimming, archery and boating. You’ll be part coach, part mentor, part role model—and 100% fun. Job Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a variety of camp activities (crafts, games, target sports, nature, and boating). Coach target sports such as archery skills, adapting activities to different ages and abilities while keeping things safe and exciting. Help plan and prepare water-based programs at the pool and lake, ensuring they’re safe, creative, and age-appropriate. Step up with fun and engaging indoor alternatives when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Monitor and maintain a safe environment, following health and safety standards from Girl Scouts of the USA, the American Red Cross, and the American Camp Association. Be a positive role model for campers, building strong relationships and encouraging every girl to try new things and reach her goals. Keep program areas stocked, organized, and ready for action. Requirements
Minimum age of 18. Experience working with children (strongly preferred). A positive attitude, adaptability, and strong communication skills. Certification in American Red Cross Adult/Child CPR/First Aid/AED, lifeguarding, small craft safety including basic water rescue, level 1 archery, and additional target sports—or willingness to obtain them (training provided if needed). Physical & Work Environment
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, and hands-on activity required. Benefits
