www.nebcoinc.com . Position Summary Serves as the supervisor at the WS&G Sand Creek site (Ashland, NE) to engage in related work as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to, the following: Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Serves as the supervisor in the field to exercise technical and functional supervision over the operators at the assigned site. Monitors crew performance and behaviors in the field and reports work progress, challenges, incidents and accidents, and employee conduct and performance to the appropriate supervisor. Communicates supervisor expectations to work crew regarding work practices and procedures, safety, and compliance with the company’s policies. Sets an example to crew members in following Company policies and safety regulations, and in maintaining a positive working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and company leadership. Evaluates work procedures and processes and ensures that safe work practices are being followed by crew members under his/her lead. Follows all safety policies and procedures and holds safety meetings with crew members. Recommends improvements and repairs to be made to equipment. Evaluates work requirements and determines work schedule. Ensures safe and efficient operation of the plant through maintenance, inspection and repair of the equipment and operating conditions of the plant. Assists in performing preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment. Operates equipment based on production schedules to assure appropriate sequence of operations. Keeps site facilities clean and safe for efficient operation. Inspects equipment before and during use. Trains employees on proper operation of equipment. Attends and participates in required trainings. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: High school education or GED; and 3 years previous work-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver’s License Skills and Abilities Must possess mechanical aptitude. Able to operate with minimal supervision and take initiative to investigate and resolve problems. Requires knowledge and use of skills and abilities related to leading a crew of workers including the ability to build a cohesive team to accomplish goals, listen to input provided by crew members and respond appropriately, and communicate information in ways that build trust and support. Able to effectively communicate with others and give oral and written instructions. Required to clearly write reports with correct use of language. Must be able to lift &/or move up to 50 pounds.
