The Role + Purpose:

Collaborate with Sr. Denim Planner, Merchants and Allocators on preseason and in-season plans to align on sales and inventory strategies for core denim business. Provide the team with diagnosis of the business and assist in analytical deep dives of denim styles and replenishment to support strategic growth. Responsibilities:

Preseason and in-season activities include planning, analysis, and communication to optimize style counts, flow of goods, and replenishment strategies. Provide daily/weekly updates on business performance, support replenishment ladders, and generate style-level sales plans to inform department forecasts. Offer analytical support for strategic initiatives to drive profitability and partner with allocations to build best practices for inventory management and size profiling. Responsibilities (Preseason)

Assist in the creation of preseason sales, margin and inventory plans for core/basics denim styles. Analyze and report on previous quarter results; identify missed sales and growth drivers over prior year. Summarize opportunity and risk of a product plan related to trend and financial metrics: initial mark-up, average unit retail, average unit cost, net margin dollars/rate. Recommend style count, cc count and flow of goods for optimal results. Communicate support for style-level buys as they relate to current trend, historical findings, or related categories. Responsibilities (In Season)

Provide daily and weekly updates on business as it relates to last forecast, identifying trends and highlighting selling that exceeds or falls short of expectations. Manage basic replenishment style ladders monthly to support forecast. Generate and manage style-level weekly unit sales plans to inform total department sales expectations by week/month/quarter and identify styles contributing to variances. Provide analytical support for key strategic initiatives to drive profitability and partner with allocation to build best practices for inventory management and size profiling. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree 6+ years of merchandise planning experience; 4-5 years in allocation, merchandising, financial planning, strategy or business analytics Denim and/or Core Basics/Replenishment experience preferred Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills Ability to synthesize business performance into key highlights, root cause analysis and action plans We welcome you to apply, even if you don’t check all the boxes.
