Overview This is a full-time, on-site role located in Palos Heights, IL for a Life Enrichment Coordinator. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for planning and implementing recreational activities, organizing therapeutic recreation programs, and planning events that engage and benefit the residents. The role includes daily interaction with residents to support their well-being, coordinating with other staff for training, and ensuring a positive and stimulating environment.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills
Experience in Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation
Proficiency in Event Planning and Training
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Experience working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Responsibilities (embedded in overview/role description) Plan and implement recreational activities and therapeutic recreation programs. Organize events and activities that engage residents.
