Summary Perdue Farms in Milford, DE is hiring a 1st Debone Supervisor. The Debone Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality output and strict adherence to safety and regulatory compliance. This role places strong emphasis on fostering associate growth, developing talent, and maintaining a safety culture of continuous improvement. The Debone Production Supervisor is a key leader who drives team performance and upholds quality production standards. Responsibilities Safety and Risk Management: Enforce safety protocols, ensure team compliance with safety standards and a safe working environment for all associates; conduct regular safety training, risk assessments and incident investigations to prevent workplace injuries; stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure team compliance with safety standards. Food Safety and Quality Standards, Regulatory and Environmental Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Maintain compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies, including HACCP, GMPs, and sanitation protocols; ensure all products meet or exceed established quality specifications through SOP adherence; lead corrective actions for non-compliance and drive initiatives to reduce waste, contamination risks and product recalls; implement and monitor quality control processes and maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO standards and industry requirements; collaborate with leadership to execute lean manufacturing principles and identify process improvements to boost efficiency and product quality; verify facility adherence to environmental laws and hazardous waste management. People Development, Engagement and Leadership: Mentor and coach team members on skill enhancement, performance management and development; foster an inclusive, collaborative culture aligned with company values; drive associate engagement and retention. Production Oversight: Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules, customer specifications, output goals and quality standards; collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime; optimize labor, materials and equipment usage for cost-effective operations. Reporting and Communication: Maintain production records, provide regular updates to management on status and opportunities for improvement; act as liaison between production teams and other departments. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience

— High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment with 2 years in a supervisory role. Completion of a relevant management trainee or rotational program may be considered in lieu of some experience. The Ideal Candidate Will Have An Associates or Bachelors Degree (highly preferred) Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) A willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Poultry or Protein production experience Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, OSHA 10/30 or similar certifications Environmental Factors And Physical Requirements May need to move light equipment or supplies; access files, supplies and equipment In plant environments: exposure to wet floors, variable temperatures (28 F to 100 F) and high humidity; exposure to noise (50 db to 110 db) and chemicals used in poultry production; must wear protective equipment as directed.
