Job Summary
Subcontract Project Manager II role at Zachry Group. Senior member of the site-based subcontract team coordinating subcontract and service agreements daily interface with subcontractors, service providers, owner representatives, field management team, project management team, and corporate support departments. Commercial/contractual proficiency with experience in subcontract sourcing, field execution, commercial management, change management, safety, quality, and project controls. Leadership skills to motivate others, coordinate efforts, effective communication, training subordinate staff. Key Responsibilities
Develop and negotiate subcontract agreements, RFP strategy, award recommendation. Post-award commercial management of portfolio of complex services and subcontract agreements. Oversee execution of field subcontracts ensuring scope, commercial requirements, safety, quality, timely completion. Analyze project data cost-effective and schedule compliant; determine commercial requirements and project goals. Manage cost adherence to project specific budgets and forecasts. Maintain records management integrity; ensure documents are available and auditable. Negotiate change orders and back charges for alignment with commercial terms. Accountable for approvals prior to executing commitments and contract turnover and closeout. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 10 years industrial construction subcontract management of >$100M and/or +350 craft or subcontractors; supervisory experience. Commercial/contractual proficiency, negotiating skills, project controls, safety, quality experience. Valued but not required skills
Primavera Software Oracle PMI Certification Physical Requirements
Needs to communicate in person, telephone, email, video chat. Must maneuver around construction site with rough terrain, climbing may be required, lift 10 lbs. May visit construction sites and industrial facilities. Use PPE. Work Environment
Multiple environments: office, warehouse, trailer or building on construction sites. Noise moderate to high. Heavy equipment vehicles, small large equipment, materials etc. Seniority Level
