Location: Tempe, AZ. This hybrid role works five days per week; hours are determined by location. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the management and daily operations of HVAC work orders for given accounts, ensuring work orders are managed within established KPI’s, supervising direct reports, handling work order escalations and time-critical repairs, and partnering with Account Management to meet customer needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Organize workload to manage normal day-to-day activities, emergency assignments and special projects to ensure KPI’s and performance objectives are met to satisfaction. Manage subcontractors and direct reports; perform annual performance evaluations; hold subcontractors accountable to contract requirements. Ensure all work orders are completed and closed out within account timeframes. Respond to customer escalations and maintain open communication between account, providers and customer. Investigate, develop and implement projects or processes to reduce costs, increase quality, and meet standards. Foster a positive work environment with associates and customers; train, mentor and engage in associate development; maintain a positive relationship with customers to support open dialogue. Promote environmental health and safety by adhering to safety practices and addressing concerns. Work in EMCOR and customer CMMS systems to keep work orders updated. Assist sales leaders to develop initial account resource plans involving work order processes, invoice content, and other critical account specifications. Assist Operations Account Managers to conduct final account resource plans and collaborate with functional leaders to integrate their functions. Assist Account Managers to plan and execute full account rehearsals. Qualifications
Must be within commutable distance from the Tempe, AZ office. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the HVAC industry. Minimum of two years’ experience in facilities maintenance, property management or customer service roles. Advanced proficiency in MS Windows Applications, including MS Excel and Word. Professional and friendly demeanor; willing to go above and beyond to accomplish the mission. Ability to work under pressure and make correct decisions with limited input, and know when to escalate issues. Effective communication with all Operations Staff and Call Center Operations teams. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Courteous, professional demeanor at all times; ability to convey confidence when providing/receiving information.
