HDR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our West Region Power Generation team. As a Project Manager, you will support power and energy projects within the industrial, institutional, municipal, IPP, and utility sectors. The role involves maintaining client relationships, project acquisition, strategic planning, monitoring project progress, and leading multi-disciplinary teams to successful completion. Significant client interaction and strong communication skills are essential, as is experience with utility-scale power generation systems, emerging market trends, and complex project management. Responsibilities include: Develop and maintain positive client relationships. Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals. Serve as proposal champion/manager, assist with proposals, review contracts, and evaluate risks. Provide leadership to project teams and technical staff. Communicate regularly with team and clients to align expectations and monitor deliverables. Manage project budgets and schedules, developing recovery plans as needed. Monitor scope changes and manage project scope accordingly. Mentor and train project staff on management and consulting issues. Perform design or consulting work within engineering expertise. Report project progress to relevant stakeholders. Handle multiple concurrent projects efficiently. Maintain organizational, project management, and communication excellence. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 7 years of related experience. Minimum of 2 years project management experience. Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus. Strong leadership skills. Commitment to our employee-owned, inclusive culture.
