STV Constructability Review Specialist Job Description
STV is seeking a Constructability Review Specialist for the Construction Management Group in Los Angeles, CA. Duties:
Supports the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative during the preconstruction phase, including: Assisting in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedule, including interim housing requirements Making value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design Commenting on the design professional's deliverables to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors, and omissions in the progress plans to reduce RFIs and Change Orders Ensuring documents are coordinated between design disciplines Preparing comprehensive constructability reviews of pre-bid construction documents Coordinating efforts with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative in a collaborative manner Performing other duties as assigned Required Qualifications:
15 years of full-time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree, including: At least 10 years acting as a Construction Administrator on public/educational facility projects supported by full responsibility At least 5 years acting as a Designer OR 15 years of full-time paid experience as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager on public/educational or large commercial projects with full responsibility, with a construction value exceeding $30M for a single project or a cumulative value of $400M OR Minimum of two years college coursework from a recognized institution and five years of additional relevant experience Compensation Range:
