Overview
To ensure that all ceiling tile products meet defined quality standards by performing dimensional inspections, visual inspections, and process verifications throughout the manufacturing and finishing process. This role supports operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by identifying defects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and documenting quality outcomes. Shift: 6a-2:30p Mon-Fri Pay: $24.64/hr. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform incoming inspection of raw materials including aluminum coils, films, and hardware components. Conduct in-process inspections including measurements of panel length, open width, face width, squareness, camber, and hole patterns. Execute final inspections for surface quality, edge condition, coating quality, labeling, and packaging compliance. Calibrate and maintain inspection tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, height gauges, and color readers. Document inspection results, communicate findings to production and quality teams, and escalate non-conformances Participate in root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement efforts. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent is required Technical or vocational training is a plus 2+ years of Quality inspection in manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication is required OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY
Ability to read product drawings and use precision measuring tools - Required Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems - Preferred Knowledge of powder coating and aluminum fabrication - Preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS
