$41.00/hr - $45.00/hr Responsibilities

Develop solutions to make sure issues never become problems. Review projects with Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subs are in place; conduct physical survey of project with the Superintendent to ascertain conditions and report back to PM in writing, if required. Takeoffs for projects in a timely and thorough manner with the Superintendent. Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions to include scheduling, material control, and rentals. Provide daily job completion percentages. Ensure all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies and other requirements; document all incidents as they occur and notify Project Manager and Superintendent; recommend and implement corrective action. Ensure that all jobs have weekly reports filled and turned into the office weekly (safety/toolbox, preconstruction, weekly production, and any project-specific reports). Conduct inspections on jobs, ensure jobs meet company standards, ensure readiness, and participate in start-ups; coordinate with contractors, engineers, subcontractors and owners as necessary. Experience within food manufacturing/beverage manufacturing facilities preferred; retrofit experience is ideal. Experience with Welding SMAW/GTAW on Carbon and Stainless Steel. Coordinate with shop for production scheduling and deliveries. 4+ years’ experience; journeyman or able to obtain license. Able to read blueprints and prepare materials lists. Work to increase team efficiency and uphold high standards of safety at all times. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be self-motivated and punctual; able to multi-task with excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally. Professional in appearance and speech. Experience with government facilities is a plus. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climbing ladders.
