Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts
This position maintains and operates store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. The Delivery Specialist also collects money on C.O.D. deliveries and picks up customer returns.

Key Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and complete vehicle inspections prior to operation. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip. Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day’s business. Clock in/out according to company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and checking in and putting up stock orders. May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates. Qualifications
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18-point record system. Legally required state driver’s license and meeting company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Desired Skills / Experience
Familiarity with automotive parts. Ability to operate other light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired. Compensation & Benefits
