Lead Material Planner

We are looking for a
Lead Material Planner
to join our Apparel Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing material plans that ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support production and on‑time delivery. You will play a key role in optimizing material planning strategies, driving supply chain efficiency, and enabling sustainable growth across our apparel business.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve risks or opportunities within material plans.
Collaborate with sourcing, manufacturing, and production partners to ensure accurate and timely material demand signals.
Analyze material demand and capacity data, implementing mitigation plans to ensure on‑time production.
Develop and operationalize
material lead‑time strategies
that balance responsiveness and efficiency.
Support seasonal readiness and product launch activities to ensure material availability.
Act as a
Materials Subject Matter Expert (SME) , advising on best practices and process improvements.
Partner with analytics and technology teams to develop
data‑driven tools, dashboards, and reports
that enhance visibility into key performance metrics.
Drive process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the end‑to‑end material supply chain.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree
in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience
in
Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Manufacturing, or Logistics .
Strong understanding of
Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) ,
demand forecasting ,
capacity management , and
inventory optimization .
Proficiency
in analytics and planning tools such as
Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Python .
Experience with
manufacturing processes
and driving operational improvements.
Excellent
communication, collaboration, and presentation skills .
Proven ability to thrive in a
fast‑paced, cross‑functional, and global environment .
Strong
problem‑solving mindset
and results‑oriented approach to managing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the
apparel, footwear, or consumer goods
industries.
Familiarity with
supply chain optimization tools
and
workflow orchestration systems .
Experience managing
cross‑cultural or virtual teams .
Passion for
innovation, continuous improvement, and supply chain excellence .
