Description & Requirements
The Opportunity
Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing.
Primary duties include the install, start up and shut down of equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA requirements; inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved and maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. The job also includes performing preventative maintenance functions as directed, assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting and to perform other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn the maintenance of complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.
This is a 2nd Shift position - 3p - 11p

What You Need To Succeed
Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned
Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations
A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
Computer experience/operation and PLC programming
Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required
High school diploma or equivalent required; Electrical background, Military training and/or technical school preferred
Offer contingent on passing background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen
