Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor
Job Summary As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high-performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team; foster a positive work environment; set goals and provide ongoing feedback.
Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs and resolving issues.
Sales & Performance: Drive store sales and profitability through merchandise management, promotions, and achieving targets.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure policy, procedure, and health & safety compliance.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance.
Marketing & Community Engagement: Implement local marketing initiatives and build relationships with the community.
Innovation & Problem-Solving: Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team.
Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Customer-Centric: Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Minimum Requirements
Assistant Store Manager: Open availability including mornings, days, and nights; minimum 5-day work week; average 44 hours, varying with peak periods.
Supervisor: Availability to open/close (mornings, days, nights); minimum 5 days; at least 30 hours per week.
All Management: Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation; ability to read/write English and perform business mathematics; may relocate within the company network for operational needs.
Physical Demands
Prolonged standing (approximately 5–14 hours per day).
Extended hours during peak sale periods (up to 12 hours per day).
Stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pulling to stock and merchandise.
May require climbing ladders or stairs to stock or obtain merchandise.
May lift 5–25 lbs regularly (weights may be higher in some circumstances).
Good vision, including color differentiation.
Moderately noisy retail environment.
Education
High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation Assistant Manager pay range: $18.38 – $21.50 per hour with bonus opportunities based on store KPIs. Supervisor pay range: $19.81 per hour. All roles are eligible for the company 401K plan. Full-time roles are eligible for medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company-paid time off.
