Operate forklifts following company standards and guidelines to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; and address improvement opportunities. Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow; follow company policies for utilizing equipment; merchandise and stock planning; correct shelf capacities; and complete required paperwork, logs, and other documentation. Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology use, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting Sam's Club products and services. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to safety guidelines, and reporting unsafe conditions to management. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up displays, maintaining modular integrity, and processing defective merchandise in accordance with policies and sanitation standards. Ensure club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders and auditing for accuracy. Handle, move, and display goods safely; track in-stock levels; monitor shrinkage; report poor inventory practices; and use inventory tools and equipment properly. Identify shrink opportunities and problems and take corrective actions; keep equipment well maintained and stocked. Demonstrate technology service support by proactively helping customers and modeling technology use for others. Foster a respectful, inclusive work environment by embracing diversity and collaborating as a team. Qualifications
90 days of prior experience with forklift operation; forklift certification; ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred qualifications: Customer service experience, retail experience, supervising a team. Benefits and Additional Information
