About the Role:
As a Roofing Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating subcontractor crews, communicating with customers, overseeing safe and quality work, and reporting back to the team on job success. On a typical day, you’ll:
Meet with subcontractor crews onsite to get the job started.
Oversee installation quality and ensure work follows company standards.
Perform daily safety checks and enforce company safety procedures.
Communicate with homeowners throughout the job to manage expectations.
Count and report used materials for inventory and job costing.
Capture before/during/after photos and upload job documentation.
This is not a desk job. You’ll spend your days in the field, interacting with customers, overseeing jobs, and preparing for upcoming jobs, while also being the face of On Tops in the community.
Roof access is not a daily requirement for this role, but the ability to safely access a roof when necessary is essential.
Requirements:
Proven reliability and punctuality (must consistently show up prepared and on time)
Ability to manage tasks independently and make decisions on-site when issues arise
Strong communication skills with both subcontractor crews and homeowners
Able to learn and use company technology (training provided)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
Ability to lift and move construction materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work a varying work schedule between 30-50 hours per week.
