A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice serves private equity clients and focuses on developing deep functional skills to tailor solutions that improve client business performance. Our PEPI services include: Supply Chain Transformation Services Manufacturing Operations Improvement Interim Management M&A Services CFO Services Supply Chain professionals analyze the full chain—from Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to Logistics and Distribution and Integrated Demand & Supply Planning—identifying value opportunities, building roadmaps, and driving EBITDA improvements. How You Will Contribute

Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements in collaboration with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for portfolio companies. The role requires hands-on leadership in several areas of supply chain improvement. Understand a client’s supply chain including manufacturing and distribution locations, product flow, costs, and key processes. Develop structured approaches to assess improvement opportunities and define strategies to meet growth and financial objectives. Analyze network design and footprints: baseline costs, inventory flows, and optimization opportunities; model network design using preferred software (e.g., Llamasoft). Determine optimal distribution center locations and inventory flows to improve cost, service, and capital efficiency. Develop high-level planning models for inventory optimization across networks. Conduct sourcing events for transportation and warehousing, including RFI/RFP processes and 3PL negotiations; assess inventory planning processes and opportunities. Develop transformation and implementation plans with estimated benefits (OPEX, inventory, service levels). Ensure quality of deliverables and manage teams and client relationships to achieve exceptional performance. Possess the ability to conduct analysis and lead teams through analytical work. 7-10+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience Experience from top-tier firms or Big-4 advisory roles is a plus Deep expertise in distribution & logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing, 3PL operations, and inventory planning Experience leading or modeling supply chains using software tools (e.g., Llamasoft) Strong fact-gathering and analytical skills, including process mapping and quantitative analysis Ability to travel based on project requirements Your journey at A&M
