Join Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) as a Senior Logistician supporting Ground Based Air Defense Engineering and Logistics Contract in Quantico, VA.
Summary Logisticians are expected to assist with all logistics aspects within the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) portfolio, both in garrison and in field environments. This position combines office and field support and requires flexibility to support a fast‑paced program with continually evolving requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Logistics meeting support during test and demonstration planning.
Life‑Cycle Logistics Support including component failure tracking and configuration management.
Perform readiness and reliability data collection using life cycle logistics information systems such as GCSS‑MC, Web Federal Logistics Information System, TDM Catalyst, and Logistics – Data & Analytics Reporting Tool.
Conduct timely analysis of product support design parameters (e.g., reliability, availability, maintainability, durability; MTBOMF, Ao, MTIR, LORA, etc).
Perform limited technical inspections and new equipment in‑bound/out‑bound shipments, including internal management and accounting of items.
Review and recommend appropriate sustainment changes when applicable.
Serve as technical SME during test and evaluations, providing key input to operation and maintenance/sustainment of weapon systems.
Lead and participate in technical manual verifications.
Draft and edit disposal and demilitarization plans.
Track and manage National Stock Number (NSN) data maintenance actions.
Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Waiver (RFW), and Requests for Deviations (RFDs) and provide recommendations.
Prepare, validate, and modify the maintenance plan across the equipment life cycle; support/participate in Depot Level Source of Repair (DLSOR) process.
Serve on Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and act as key member of government design review teams.
Qualifications – Required
Minimum 10+ years experience in defense logistics, preferably with the Marine Corps or similar; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Active SECRET security clearance.
Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, MS Project).
Preferred Qualifications
ACQ 1010 – Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management (required within 6 months of hire).
LOG 1000 – Life Cycle Logistics Fundamentals (required within 6 months).
LOG 1050 – Fundamentals of Systems Sustainment Management (desired).
LOG 104 – Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (desired).
CLL 0110 – Introduction to Performance Based Logistics (desired).
Physical and Safety Requirements Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, walk, and stand for prolonged periods; most time spent sitting with frequent movement. No federal safety‑sensitive functions.
Other Employment Details Full‑time; CONUS travel less than 10% annually. No supervisory responsibilities.
