Business Development Manager (On/Off Premise Signature Fine Wine and Spirits Division)

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will strategically grow SGWS’s business through influential leadership across both on‑premise and off‑premise channels.
Primary Responsibilities
Accountable for achieving revenue, margin, and gross profit targets as set by the Sales Director.
Communicate local program spending effectiveness to maximize the company’s profits and help determine ROI on focused initiatives.
Accurately analyze and project quarterly and monthly business for an assigned territory.
Provide conflict resolution and remove performance obstacles among key accounts in the region.
Identify market trends and developments in product categories, geographic regions, and the entire account base to stay ahead of the competition.
Minimum Qualifications
Fine Wine knowledge required.
Supplier/distributor experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or 3–5 years of industry‑related sales experience.
Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Demonstrated strategic, analytical thinking and strong financial acumen.
Proficient in Compass, 3‑2‑1, Excel, and Proof.
Strong communication, organization, and commercial planning skills.
Ability to align supplier strategies with internal and external teams.
Minimum age 21.
Physical Demands
Activity includes sitting and typing, using a computer or mobile device.
May include walking, bending, reaching, standing, stooping, and occasional lifting or pushing up to 40 lbs.
Work week often exceeds 40 hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
