Operations Manager – Hydrocarbon Processing Facility
Location: Hebron, OH (onsite). Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
Role As an Operations Manager you will be accountable for the performance of the hydrocarbon operating unit and be a member of our leadership team. You will have direct communication and direction from the asset owner along with Wood site management.

Responsibilities
Responsible for managing, monitoring and controlling quality and production of products in assigned operating units
Lead the operations team to ensure the operating units meet EHS, production, and quality targets and facilitate area daily review, area schedule commitment and weekly schedule commitment meetings
Promote the development of a continuous improvement culture, including Six Sigma and Lean tools
Participate in the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), updates and forecasting and continuously review the plan compliance with respect to production, yields and fixed costs
Ensure the accurate accounting close for month end reporting
Investigate and explain manufacturing variances that deviate from the plan
Manage the engagement, performance and development of staff, manage the troubleshooting process in the units and determine corrective actions in a timely manner and control raw material and utility consumption and manage product formulations to meet spec requirements and create BOMs
Drive continuous improvement in production efficiencies and eliminating leakage
Ensure safety, environmental and PSM compliance of the operating unit
Provide inputs to the design or equipment sizing to comply with processing and quality requirements
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in an Engineering discipline; Chemical Engineering highly preferred
12+ years of operations experience in petro-chemical, refining or LNG industry including leadership/management experience
Must be willing to wear PPE (hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator)
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materials
Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials
Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings
