ONE WORLD OBSERVATORY Positioned at the top of One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, on levels 100, 101, and 102 – One World Observatory provides guests with panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters from 1,250 feet. A customized guest experience complements the views – including interactive experiences and dining options, plus a sit-down restaurant. THE ROLE

The F&B Manager is responsible for the execution of strategy within the F&B department. They will manage associates, inventory, registers, and customer service in a high-end Café/Lounge to maximize profitability, control sales, margins and inventory turns. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct consistent pre-shift and monthly meetings Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards Maintain positive client relations and anticipate guest needs to ensure guest service in accordance with Legends standards Coordinate with kitchen, serving staff, host team, and guests to ensure dining details are handled efficiently and customer concerns are addressed promptly Act as a sommelier by using wine and cocktail knowledge to make informed wine and beverage pairing recommendations; address guest queries, advise on menus and beverage selections, and respond to complaints in a timely manner Ensure all “special occasion” arrangements (e.g., birthdays; anniversaries; honeymoons) are handled flawlessly Ensure financial (invoices, reporting, payroll) and administrative duties are completed accurately and on time in accordance with company policies Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup while adhering to health standards Perform other duties as assigned by leadership SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations, including scheduling, staff assignments, side-work supervision, inventory management (incl. PAR levels), and closing procedures Foster a cooperative work environment to maximize morale, productivity, and efficiency Collaborate with other departments on training and development initiatives Evaluate performance and coordinate staffing levels Instruct team members on policies, procedures, duties, and provide coaching Maintain a safe associate and guest environment by mitigating risk of accidents; complete accident reports promptly if needed QUALIFICATIONS

A professional degree or certification with a minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on culinary experience; bilingual preferred Food handler’s certification from the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) ServSafe or Food Handler’s certification SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Personable, friendly and welcoming Ability to read, speak and write in English fluently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to listen effectively and follow directions Ability to communicate with team members and guests Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards Strong attention to detail Strong time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills Excellent knowledge of beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette Ability to work independently with limited supervision Physical ability to perform tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.; standing and walking for long periods Commitment to safe work habits and safety training People- and product-focused servant leadership Ability to align with culinary leadership on client expectations Ability to troubleshoot situations and provide satisfactory resolutions Experience in both union and non-union environments preferred Experience in high-volume food service venues with experience overseeing alcohol sales preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems Flexibility to work extended hours as needed COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary of $65,000, commensurate with experience, plus a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan. WORKING CONDITIONS
