The Business Development Senior Specialist – Global M&A, Private Equity, & Activism is an integral part of Latham’s Business Development team. This role will support the M&A and Private Equity practice group’s marketing and business development goals, while developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of practice, market and industry expertise, client mix, matter experience, trade groups, and media. This role is located in New York and may be eligible for a flexible hybrid schedule. Responsibilities
Providing research, analysis, and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships Leveraging an understanding of the firm’s client base to analyze opportunities and successes Identifying and reporting on market share across products, industries and markets Supporting the implementation of business development tactics and initiatives aligned with the strategic objectives of practices, markets, relevant industry sectors, and/or clients Aiding in the execution of cross-selling strategies, including collaboration with relevant BD teams Protecting and maintaining highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related field Minimum of 5 years’ cumulative experience (preferred) Minimum of 3 years’ related subject matter experience and analytical experience (preferred) Benefits & Additional Information
