Department Supervisor LDRP Full Time Nights

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Tennessee Nursing License Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient Understanding principles of aseptic technique and their implementation Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics Knowledge to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions Excellent teaching, communication, and organizational skills Strong professional and ethical behavior Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships (TEAMWORK) Strong customer service skills Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation, and openness to change Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement principles Required Skills Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred USPI complies with laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If required, candidates must show proof of vaccination or obtain an exemption before starting. Exempted individuals must undergo regular testing as per law.
