Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The student will apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands‑on situations.

The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility throughout his/her co‑op experience.

Will identify and fix computer and network problems.

Will attend and participate in weekly departmental meeting.

Will take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.

Participate on project teams for some assigned projects.

Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.

Participate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new product development, product line extensions, and product enhancements.

Will work on computers, printers, and the network; troubleshooting hardware issues and configuring computers.

Will work on troubleshooting Windows 10 and Office; also printing repair and troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of computer hardware

Basic knowledge of computer networking

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Good writing skills and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, VB 6.0, C#, or VB.Net is a plus

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Active Directory experience and PowerShell experience.

Knowledge of project management and business analysis.

Strong analytical skills; possess the ability to work through technical issues.
