Position Information Hiring Department : Athletics.

Posting End Date : Open until filled.

Hours : 40 hours per week, standard Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, flexibility is required on evenings and weekends.

FLSA status : Exempt

Earliest Start Date : As soon as possible.

Salary : $46,350 annually, commensurate with experience.

Purpose of Position Summary : Develop and grow effective relationships with UTEP Athletics constituents by leveraging data and marketing & communications strategies promoting the Miner Athletic Club Annual Fund.

Statement Of Duties And Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and executing of all revenue generating efforts for UTEP Athletics

Build relationships and educate donors and other constituents of UTEP Athletics on current fundraising initiatives and priorities

Develop strategies to maximize annual fund level contributions

Work closely with Director of Stewardship and Events to coordinate a robust membership calendar for renewals, stewardship, and communications

Under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director for Development and Deputy Athletics Director for Revenue Generation, meet agreed upon metrics for annual fund revenue, number of Miner Athletic Club members, and other determined priorities

Along with Athletics Ticket Office, build out fundraising strategies in coordination with ticket renewals and new sales opportunities

Manage a portfolio of donors capable of making philanthropic annual fund contributions

Stay current on NCAA legislation as it relates to compliance, Title IX, and rule changes

Serve as a key member of the Miner Athletic Club team, participating in fundraising and intercollegiate athletics events

Serve as lead on all marketing and communication efforts for the Miner Athletic Club

Serve on the external leadership team of the Athletic Department

Serve as the liaison with Institutional Advancement with all aspects related to large‑scale fundraising campaigns, including Raise Your Pick Giving Day

Serve as the primary point of contact for data needs of the Athletics Department by utilizing current technologies (Ticketmaster, Raiser’s Edge, and other external partnerships)

Complies with all State and University policies.

Required Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Two years of experience in Intercollegiate Athletics

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of computerized fundraising and ticketing systems

Public relations and promotion skills

Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations

Understanding of Gender Equity and Title IX as they relate to Intercollegiate Athletics

Detailed understanding of athletic fundraising, NCAA Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) landscape
