Responsible for meeting production goals, managing room performance and overall product run on a Production Line (Cook, Mix Fill, Case Pack). Support start-up and change over actions of room while adhering to HACCP standards. Identify causes of downtime and complete troubleshooting to reduce downtime. Data collection of production activities. Knowledge of production processes. Ability to operate machinery, identify proper machine settings and perform duties in absence of an employee. Verify procedures and quality checks are followed and completed. Report re-occurring issues/concerns/downtime to Line Lead or Shift Supervisor. Verify adherence to weight program. Coordinate training of new hires and current employees in room. Promote and maintain a safe working environment. Perform sanitation duties in room. Ensure completion and accuracy of production paperwork in room. Other duties as assigned. Duties And Responsibilities
Working knowledge of complete production line and understanding of Lean Management principles and concepts. Ability to use computer applications, including Microsoft products, Email, Oracle, Work order system. Solid understanding and application of all GMPs and Safety procedures. Ensure accuracy of data tracking. Ability to use basic math skills. Ability to plan workload according to production schedule and requirements. Ability to recognize tasks that need to be completed and complete them. Occasional heavy lifting of raw ingredients with a weight range of 40-60 pounds. Ability to use a pallet jack and powered lift. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner. Working Conditions
Areas of facility may include controlled temperature zones including areas with refrigeration and noise levels requiring PPE. 100% Facility Environment. 0% Office Environment. Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Stand, walk, lift 100% of the time. Qualifications
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: High School Diploma Solid computer skills (MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Skill for recognition of new opportunities and problem solving Ability to work in a multi-task, deadline-oriented environment Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts Must be willing to attend off-site training Ability on a daily basis, walking, standing, crouching, lifting (25-35 lbs), twisting, climbing, reaching Additional : EEO/AAP/Vets/Disabilities
