Process prescriptions, including gathering patient and insurance info, labeling, and filling prescriptions. Obtain approval from Staff Pharmacist and insurance as needed. Communicate with patients and insurance companies to verify coverage, resolve issues, and submit prior authorization paperwork. Print and organize shipping labels and paperwork, pack prescriptions securely for shipment. Manage pharmaceutical inventory, anticipate needs, and order drugs accordingly. Prepare daily shipping lists for Intake Coordinators. Contact patients to review policies and set up refills. Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails. Track deliveries to ensure timely arrival. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and company policies. Participate in departmental meetings and assist in training new staff. Operate in a pharmacy environment supported by an on-site pharmacist. Qualifications & Skills

Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program with Board Certification and 1-3 years of experience. Knowledge of NDC (National Drug Code), insurance formularies, medications, and pharmacy laws. Computer literacy, customer service skills, communication proficiency, accuracy, time management, teamwork, organizational skills, telephone skills, and ability to handle interruptions and meet deadlines. Physical Demands

Regular talking, hearing, sitting, standing, walking, using hands for computer tasks, visual acuity, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Additional Requirements

Background check, child abuse clearance, TB test, and drug screen. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications
