Process Operator is responsible for performing duties in the production of food products in a safe, clean work environment. Meet or exceed manufacturing schedules, with quality products while minimizing waste. Essential Functions Of The Job

Report to Lead person and follow production directions from Lead person. Arrange and ensure continuity of production at shift change. Monitor the process to ensure that production meets or exceeds the manufacturing schedule while meeting quality requirements and minimizing waste. Serve as a source of knowledge and expertise for the production line. Troubleshoot and resolve operating difficulties involving equipment and personnel within the area. Ensure that all governmental, company, and departmental standards and requirements for safety, quality, and GMPs are met. Maintain records and paperwork related to assigned tasks. Document all incidents and deviations. Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required. Key Accountabilities

Safety

Follows all plant safety rules. Reports all accidents to the production manager. Reports any potential safety hazards to the safety committee or Production Manager.

Quality

Adheres to all Quality Assurance System guidelines. Responsible for compliance with the HACCP program. Responsible for accurate documentation.

Housekeeping

Maintain a clean and organized work area. Cooperates with other shifts and the management team in housekeeping endeavors.

Communications

Assure effective shift communication and teamwork with the other supervisors occurs each scheduled shift. Maintains effective communication with members of the support group.

Teamwork and Training

Promotes and contributes to the development of teamwork among production team members. Assist in coaching and training employees as requested by the management team.

Personal Development

Continuous improvement of knowledge of the soy base process.

Minimum Qualifications

Can perform the job successfully with minimal amount of supervision. Able to evaluate a situation and make a good decision. Good past work history and good attendance. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and at times more. Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience

Preferably at least two years’ experience in food manufacturing. Featured Benefits
