Overview

Full-time, onsite WIC Program Manager role in Baton Rouge, LA. This position focuses on overseeing WIC services and promoting the health and well-being of women, infants, and children. Starting salary is $64,000, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities

Oversee all WIC locations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and acting as the primary liaison with the state WIC agency. Supervise staff, conduct training sessions, and manage quality assurance to ensure optimal clinic operations. Develop and coordinate nutrition education programs, promote obesity prevention, breastfeeding initiatives, and community outreach in accordance with state guidelines. Identify grant and contract opportunities linked to nutrition programs and represent CareSouth in regional, state, and federal discussions. Knowledge and Skills
