Overview
The Business Development Leader is accountable for driving company growth and market expansion. This strategic role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong industry relationships, and leveraging technical and market expertise to meet and exceed revenue targets. The leader collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and represents the company at industry events. Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation strategies. Implement growth strategies and plans
to increase revenue and expand into new markets. Build and maintain strong relationships
with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Research market trends and competitors
to identify threats and opportunities. Negotiate contracts and close deals
that comply with the company’s objectives and policies. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings
to expand the company's presence. Prepare and deliver presentations and pitches
to potential clients and senior management. Collaborate with internal teams
(marketing, sales, product development) to ensure alignment with business goals. Travel
as needed to meet or exceed financial goals. Set and monitor KPIs
to track business growth and report performance to senior management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management or related field. 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills
