Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Regional HSE Manager, the Project HSE Lead is responsible for facilitating all aspects of safety and health on a specific project. This position will work closely with the Area HSE Lead, project management, and jobsite personnel.

Competent Person certifications strongly preferred (construction-related). Experience: Understand project work plans, drawings, and technical plans and apply them to daily hazard analysis and inspection tasks. Familiar with state and federal standards and able to reference, interpret, and implement applicable standards. Skills: Conduct safety meetings and speak publicly to project and client personnel. Conduct investigations, root cause analysis, identify and implement corrective actions, and produce appropriate reporting and documentation. Responsibilities: Work full time on an assigned project site. Develop and maintain project-specific HASP, AHA, EMP, and monitor adherence/efficacy of plans. Perform daily hazard hunts and address employee observations. Maintain project safety information, documents, and metrics. Provide and ensure appropriate inspection and maintenance of safety supplies and equipment on project. Conduct incident/injury intervention, escort injured workers to medical care as required. Conduct incident investigations and reporting, implement corrective actions to address investigation findings. Communicate with Area HSE Lead and Regional HSE Manager to provide updates and seek support where needed. Track, trend, and document project safety performance metrics. Have the authority to stop unsafe actions and behaviors on the project site. Physical Demands/Working Environment: Work outdoors in various temperatures and conditions. Wear various PPE (respirators, fall protection, etc.). Travel on land, water, and aircraft as needed. Sit and stand for several hours at a time.
