Supports specific private label products and/or categories through analysis and development of marketing plans; product promotions; advertising; in-store displays; merchandising strategies; inventory forecasting; category support for small categories/suppliers. Assists with new product development. Performs trend and other sales data analysis to assist the BM/SBM. Interacts with a limited number of suppliers/customers under the supervision of the direct manager. Communicates cost increases and related information with limited negotiating. Minimum qualifications: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business. 0-2 years of experience in Account or Brand Management. Travel: Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job. Environment & Requirements
Office / Sedentary: Incumbent must be able to perform essential functions in an office environment, including siting for extended periods, ability to hear, data entry, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Responsibilities (Expanded)
Managing Client Relationships: Own relationships within the retailer’s Private Label/Own Brand team; understand priorities and communicate knowledge; coordinate item launches, label updates, reformulations, and deadlines; build and maintain relationships with supplier partners and retailer. Business Management: Manage supplier/client sales and revenue; negotiate brokerage rates; contract management. Project Management: Facilitate and drive projects with cross-functional teams; identify risks and solutions. Product Development: Manage private label product development from ideation to shelf; influence actions to meet deadlines; manage expectations with clients and retailer; obtain new sources of supply. Communication: Advise BM on roadblocks; support new business development; be a problem-solver and self-starter; proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure objectives are met. Supervisory: No direct reports; may guide indirect work. Travel: Not essential. Additional Information
