Description
The Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst – Blue Yonder Category Management will play a key role in supporting, developing, and optimizing our Enterprise Application portfolio, with a primary focus on Space Management solutions powered by Blue Yonder. This position is responsible for delivering functional application support, configuring systems, and implementing new processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The analyst will gather and analyze business requirements through collaboration with users, peers, external partners, and leadership. They will identify and recommend effective solutions that align with business objectives. They will create detailed reports, queries, business cases, and presentations to support informed decision‑making. The role requires a self‑starter who can work independently while engaging regularly with cross‑functional teams and receiving strategic guidance from leadership. Success depends on strong collaboration, accountability, and a results‑driven mindset.
Maintain and support the Blue Yonder Category Knowledge Base (CKB) suite and related modules.
Perform routine updates and minor upgrades to ensure system stability and performance.
Troubleshoot issues efficiently, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams (Citrix, Desktop Virtualization, Database Administration) to resolve system challenges and enhance performance.
Partner with business teams to address issues related to Blue Yonder infrastructure, architecture, and environments.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Blue Yonder technologies, providing technical guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
Stay current on Blue Yonder advancements and assess their potential impact on the existing environment.
Ensure adherence to security protocols and data protection standards.
Manage internal technical communications and support ticket resolution processes.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience in enterprise systems analysis or technical leadership roles.
Proven experience as a Blue Yonder Technical Lead or in a similar role managing the Blue Yonder Category Knowledge Base (CKB) suite.
Technical Expertise
Deep understanding of Blue Yonder Category Knowledge Base architecture, configuration, and customization, including:
Category Knowledge Base (CKB)
Space Planning
Floor Planning
Open Access
Data Manager
Image Server
Publishing Server
Batch Server
Database Commands
Planogram Generator
SA Pro
Proficiency in related technologies and platforms:
SQL, Oracle
Server Administration
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Windows OS
Batch Processing
VBA, Python, Power BI
Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated ability to perform system upgrades and updates within the Blue Yonder suite.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Certifications
Blue Yonder certifications are preferred.
