Delivery Specialist

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts, collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, and pick up customer returns.
Essential Job Functions
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
Use handheld fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily inspections.
Keep vehicles clean and maintained, performing daily inspections before operating.
Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times.
Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slips.
Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked and secured at end of day.
Clock in/out according to company policy.
Assists customers, serves as cashier, and helps with merchandising tasks, handling core returns, stocking, and errands when business dictates.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
Driving record meets the company 14/18‑point system.
Legally required state driver's license and meet company eligibility requirements.
Familiar with automotive parts (desired).
Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired).
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
