Job Summary: The selector pulls case orders on an electric pallet jack, organizes the product by assignment, and loads them onto a designated route in a fast‑paced team environment.
Responsibilities
Select orders assigned by the operations clerk and load them onto the proper route.
Perform other job functions as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications Education
Prefer High School or GED.
Experience
Preferred: 1 year of related experience.
Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
Professional Skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment for long periods in a cool location.
Physical Demand
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. and infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs. during the shift.
Must be able to climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
Requires regular bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
Work Environment
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Decision Making Authority
Selecting the appropriate items from the correct slot.
Decisions requiring review or approval of other individuals or supervisors: Any case the selector is unsure of doing.
