Fire Alarm Service Technician
– TEKsystems – Stuart, FL. Description
Install, test, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems according to NFPA and local codes. Troubleshoot system issues, diagnose problems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure proper functionality and compliance. Program and configure fire alarm control panels, detectors, and other system components. Collaborate with clients and team members to develop practical solutions for fire detection and alarm needs. Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide exceptional customer service. Document all service and repair activities accurately and maintain detailed records. Stay updated on industry advancements, codes, and regulations related to fire alarm systems. Ensure adherence to safety standards and practices at all times. Skills
Fire alarm Troubleshooting Service Install Access control Honeywell FireLite Notifier NFPA Alarms Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Experience with addressable, conventional, and voice evacuation fire alarm systems. Familiarity with testing and diagnostic equipment used in the fire alarm industry. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience Level
Expert Level Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour.
